Kantar Consumer Index recently released its 2021 Global Brand Footprint Report. This ranking covers 35 countries worldwide, monitoring brand footprints in the food, beverage, health and beauty, and home care categories, revealing which brands are purchased and frequently purchased by more consumers, and visually presenting the brands that consumers choose the most. This ranking is based on consumer touchpoints (CRP) as a measurement indicator, which truly reflects consumer choices by measuring the number of households worldwide that purchase a certain brand (penetration rate) and purchase frequency (average annual number of times consumers purchase a certain brand).


The report shows that in the Chinese market, Chinese brands continue to outperform international brands, ranking among the top ten brands with the most consumer choices. Among the top 50 brands, there are 30 local Chinese brands, accounting for 60% of the total.
